Yo, Aoe and Yanagi! Are you guys coming to my party?!
I will be sad if you don'ton many hands:
First, I will not see you if you are not here
Second, the only one of my uncles coming is Uncle Kenny
Finally, the only friend from before I moved to Corning coming is Jeff.
I need some representation ;)

Ok, so it's been almost a freaking YEAR since I posted. What's a year here and there?
But this weekend I finally got to spend time with my belovedest Aoe, and that kind of reminded me of the world I've been neglecting, so...
It's been a big year. Biggest of news - I'm engaged!
My new finace is adorable and wonderful. He does the cooking and the laundry, loves my family and friends, and is irritating just often enough that I don't get bored or abusive with him ;) He proposed to me in Key West, on a sunset cruise, and it was beautiful and wonderful.
So now I am immersed in wedding plans. My father has turned into the biggest etiquette-page reading Mother of the Bride of all time. It's way fun though. With the slightest of encouragement I will share buckets of wedding plans with all and sundry ;) We're getting married next July, on Bastille Day, so that some day I can go to Paris on our anniversary and pretend it's all for us ;)
The other big news in our world is that he just got a permanant teaching job - at my school! Ah, the togetherness. He teaches English too, so lo the dorkiness.
My house is amazing and wonderful, if rather full right now of boy crap. I just painted the back porch last week, because, you know, when the heat indices reach 110 degrees, that's the time for outdoor projects!
I hope all of you have been well! I haven't written anything :( I will try... But I will try to update more frequently!

I liked doing this meme... It was fun. Other people should do it too, and let me know they did so I can see it.
LJ Interests meme results
- archaeology:
Archaeology is my dream career. I love the thought of digging ancient civilizations out of the dust that has shrouded them for untold ages. Actually, I don't know that I'd enjoy the dust too much, but the thought of discovering things that the world hasn't seen for centuries, of learning how people lived, of visiting homes and walking streets that haven't seen a human since their last inhabitants vanished is, too me, one of the neatest and most romantic ideas ever. - clarinet:
I played the clarinet from fifth grade through college. I miss it terribly, and badly want to start playing again, but can't afford the money it will take to repair my sad little student model. The inside is all warped and all the pads are dead... I really enjoyed playing, though, and wish that I could play again. I wasn't the world's best player, but I was good, and I liked creating music. - elizabeth peters:
Only one of the best authors alive today. She writes mystery/romance novels, and I love them. She has snappy, funny heroines, and sharp funny heros, and writes series, which I love. She also writes as Barbara Michaels. She's very prolific, which is another point in her favor. - green bean casserole:
My favorite dish. You take a mess o'green beans, mix in some cream of mushroom soup, add french friend onion rings and some milk, and cook the mo' fo' out of it. It's all soupy and thick and hot and mega yummy. My mom makes it at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and the whole family only takes tiny helpings of it because I glare at them if they take more. I've been known to say things like, "No one wants any of my casserole, right? Good." My dad frowns on that, though, so if people are rude and avail themselves of the holiday meal, my mom makes another batch the day after the holiday, just for me. And I smirk smugly while I eat it. - journalism:
I teach journalism, despite a profound lack of any formal training. It's one of the subjects I've taught myself to teach it to other people and, like all of those things, it becomes more interesting the more you know. I've built the newspaper at my school into a rocking awesome thing, and my kids are now expanding it even more. It is a thing of beauty, and my baby. - lord of the rings:
I will confess here - I have never actually read the books. But I loved loved loved the movies. I was obsessed for awhile, but couldn't find a pairing I loved, so it passed. But I still think that they were beautifully done. "Sweeping epic" has become a cliche, but really, that's what it was. - muppet treasure island:
One of the most fun movies EVER. I love the Muppets - when I was a very small child it was on on Friday nights, and my mom would give me a bath and put me in footed jammies and I would stand in front of the TV and dance with the Muppets when the theme song came on, and at any point when they sang throughout the episode. This movie came out when I was in college, and Aoe and I and a bunch of our friends went to see it, and I just think it's clever and funny and cool. I love all the songs - especially "Cabin Fever" and "Professional Pirate," not least because it is, as he notes within its lyrics, Tim Curry's "only number!" - poetry:
Ah, poetry. One of the reasons I chose my career. As I tell my students, it's a feeling put into words, in the most artistic and beautiful way the person experiencing the feeling can arrange it. Yes, I'm pompous. But it's music, and it's words, and when it's well done it makes me shiver. - shounen ai:
Ah, man/man love. It can have the same effect as poetry, but for a totally different way ;) I don't really know why I love it so much... I just do. - vanyel:
Oh, my poor, beloved Vanyel! The hero of the "Magic's Pawn," series by Mercedes Lackey, Vanyel is talented, tragic, haunted, brave, self-sacrificing, tortured, beautiful and powerful. He's also gay, so shounen ai ahoy! The scene where he experiences his first major loss made me sob wrenchingly the first time I read it. I mean, I wept, bawled, cried... I had to stop reading several times to control myself to the point where I could continue. It still does make me cry a good amount of the time. I love him. He and I are nothing alike, but the way he's written makes the reader identify with him very powerfully, and thus he's one of my favorite characters of all time.

Hey...It's been forever since I updated!
I'm in my new house, and I LOVE it, even though the ceiling fan in my bedroom broke with some drama tonight, and I am irritated.
I will post more on the house, but now, before I collapse, Aoe's Meme. I am not ljcutting, which I know is rude, because I really can't quite recall how.
List twelve characters from a series, then answer the questions based on their numbers. I did it for GW and WK, and I would have done Naruto, too, but I know there aren't too many Naruto fans who hang out here. (Yet. The ninjas will get you ;) )
Gundam Wing Weiss Kreuz 1. Heero 1. Ran 2. Duo 2. Ken 3. Trowa 3. Yohji 4. Quatre 4. Omi 5. Wufei 5. Schuldig 6. Zechs 6. Brad 7. Treize 7. Nagi 8. Sally 8. Farferello 9. Noin 9. Takatori 10. Catherine 10. Sakura 11. Une 11. Aya-chan 12. Relena 12. Masafumi
Have you read a 6/11 fic? Do you want to? Zechs/Une? No, I don't think I've ever read one... I don't think I would read one unless it were one of my psychotic interpretations of the characters and Une in her craziness made him... or Treize in HIS craziness insisted and Zechs went along out of his issue-laden devotion to Treize... Hmm...
And Brad/Aya-chan... I've never read one, though I've seen them. It just doesn't do anything for me. Grown men with teenagers girls are, in my experience, creepy in an entirely different way than Brad is.
Do you think 4 is hot? How hot?
Quatre - As Aoe said, Quatre has massive hot potential. As he is, not so much Nagi - Omi I do not find hot at all
What would happen if 12 got 8 pregnant?
Relena getting Sally pregnant? As unlikely as Masafumi getting Farferello pregnant, but not as gross a concept. Yikes!
Can you rec any fic(s) about 9? Noin and Takatori? Actually, no :P
Would 2 and 6 make a good couple?
Zechs and Duo... I think that it could work. It doesn't do much for me, really, but Zechs could use someone to loosen him up, and they both have the loss of their father figure in common... I don't know if Duo could ever break through Zechs' reserve enough to really be happy, but it could happen. And SO HOT... All that hair... Yum.
And Ken and Brad... I just don't see it. I don't think Brad would be interested, frankly. My Kenken is a lot deeper than anyone gives him credit for, but still... Plus, he wouldn't be interested in Brad either. So there.
5/9 or 5/10? Why? Wufei/Noin or Wufei/Catherine? Neither does much for me... I'd say Wufei/Noin because it's more likely to happen, if she knew about any possible connection between him and Zechs. I think she'd do Wu as a substitute because she wants Zechs like nobody's business. And Schu/Takatori or Schu/Sakura? Eww, eww, double eww. I would say Schu/Sakura, just because it's less likely golf clubs would be involved.
What would happen if 7 walked in on 2 and 12 having sex?
If Treize walked in on Duo and Relena doing it? He would first retch, as would anyone else, then probably laugh a lot. Diabolically, in a bathtub, sniffing a rose. Because that's what Treize does. And Nagi, walking in on Ken and Masafumi? Again with the retching. That's just gross. Probably, he'd say nothing, walk away, and levitate lots of heavy things and knock them against his head to try to forever eliminate the image.
Make up a summary for a 3/10 fic. Trowa/Catherine? After a session of knife-throwing, Catherine is overcome and attempts to seduce Trowa. Unable to refuse one he feels is the only person who's been kind to him, Trowa agrees, but leaves in the night, feeling again that he is only wanted by others for his body. After he's gone, Catherine discovers long-lost records that identify Trowa as her brother (somehow...God knows how, this is just a summary). Appalled, she runs screaming into the wilderness, a la Chretien de Troyes. Trowa returns, hears of her disappearance, finds the papers, has a mini-meltdown of his own. He realizes that they must confront their actions together, he finds her, and they spend about 14 agonizing chapters dealing with their actions and forging a new relationship.
Yohji, angry with Ran, seduces Sakura in a perverse attempt to show Ran that he can get any woman he wants, even one supposedly devoted to Ran. Much teen melodrama ensues.
Is there any such thing as 1/8 fluff? Heero/Sally? No. Weird. Ran/Farf? Yikes. Farf fluff. Ew
Suggest a title for a 7/12 hurt/comfort fic.
I hate titles... Treize/Relena - Silver Spoons Nagi/Masafumi - Uh... Lifting the Veil
What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 to deflower 1?
Quatre deflowering Heero? Uh... Probably Quatre being needy, and Heero trying to be stalwart and provide his comrade with what he needs, little knowing the delights that await
And Omi deflowering Ran? Uh... Probably an insane Omi being very crazy and evil and naughty
</b>Does anyone on your friends list read 7 slash?</b>
Treize? Of yeah. And Nagi? Uh...Yanagi-sen is on my friends list. 'Nuff said.
Does anyone on your friends list read 3 het?
Trowa het? If they do they're smart enough not to tell me! And Yohji... Probably, but again, they hide it ;)
Does anyone on your friends list write or draw 11? Une and Aya-chan... They've both appeared a lot in stories by my people, but I don't think they're the main people...
Would anyone on your friends list write 2/4/5?
Duo/Quatre/Wufei? It's been done. I've seen it. I think it'd be better with the other two ;)
And Ken/Omi/Schu? That one I've never seen... Not sorry ;)
What might 10 scream out at a moment of great passion?
Catherine? Uh... I really don't know. I bet she gets to sleep with lots of acrobats, so I doubt she's coherent. And Sakura... I really don't WANT to picture that.
If you write a songfic about 8, which song would you choose?
Sally? "Mr. Cellophane." The gender is wrong, but no one seems to pay much attention to her... And Farf... "They're Coming to Take Me Away"
If you wrote a 1/6/12 fic, what would the warnings be?
Heero/Zechs/Relena? Squick, Incest, Het, ncs, because neither Zechs nor Heero would be there on purpose! Ran/Brad/Masafumi? - Ew... Squick again, violence... Gross.
What might be a good pick-up line for 2 to use on 10?
Duo to Catherine... "Hey... I think I'm 'falling' for you." Tight rope humor... And Ken to Sakura: "I know Ran Fujimiya"
When was the last time you read a fic about 5?
I read my own Marking to Down to Learning which is surprisingly Wufei-centric in places... And Schu? All Aoe's stuff...
What is 6's super-sekrit kink?
Zechs - What did we say it was, Aoe?? Golden showers? And Brad? He likes to be tied down.
Would 11 shag 9? Drunk or sober?
Une/Noin? Probably. I think Une goes either way. Sober, but maybe under the influence of another personality. And Aya-Takatori. I sincerely doubt it.
If 3 and 7 get together, who tops?
Trowa/Treize? Treize, no question. Yohji/Nagi? Again, Yohji is the clear winner.
"One and Nine are in a happy relationship until 9 suddenly runs off with 4. One, broken-hearted, has a hot one-night stand with 11 and a brief, unhappy affair with 12, then follows the wise advice of 5 and finds true love with 3." What title would you give this fic? Name three people on your friends list who might read it. Name one person who should write it.
“Heero and Noin are in a happy relationship until Noin suddenly runs off with Quatre. Heero, broken-hearted, has a hot one-night stand with Une and a brief, unhappy affair with Relena, then follows the wise advice of Wufei and finds true love with Trowa.” - Hmmm. ;) Not too bad, but WAY too much het. It would probably be "Love Potion Number Noin," and not many of my friends would read it, because there's too many girls. I wouldn't wish the writing of it on anyone because, again, too much het.
"Ran and Takatori are in a happy relationship until Takatori suddenly runs off with Omi. Ran, broken-hearted, has a hot one-night stand with Aya-chan and a brief, unhappy affair with Masafumi, then follows the wise advice of Schu and finds true love with Yohji." Well, this would be the incest fic of the century. I can't even begin to contemplate it.
How would you feel if 7/8 was canon?
Treize/Sally: Very perplexed NAgi/Farf: Repulsed
God, that's long!!!!

Here is the letter I just emailed all my friends. I'm reproducing it here because a) I amuse myself, and b) I am too lazy to look up Yanagi_sen's email. So, take heed, Yanagi! This means you, too ;)
Hey all!
Well, I haven't closed yet, but I will by August 19, and I have gotten permission from the owners to go into my new house and starting get things done!!!
Accordingly, my dad is coming up on Friday to help me paint! So, any or all of you who are available and willing to paint(and who among you would not be willing?!), Friday, Saturday and Sunday are painting days. Just think, a few little hours, and YOU could make a wall purple, or red, or any of a host of conflicting colors I have selected to brighten Casa C--.
The actual moving date - when I will REALLY need ALL of you and your fabulous muscles - will be Tuesday, August 23.
In case any of you need convincing, here are the Top 10 reasons to help L-- paint and move:
10. You're her FRIEND 9. She has a winning personality 8. YOU have a winning personality 7. It's good karma 6. She won't be able to make any snide remarks to/about you for several months without your being able to remind her that you helped her so she has to shut up 5. Going by past experience, someone will probably destroy something and you wouldn't want to miss that 4. Also judging by past experience, something will happen to generate a rumor, and you'll want to be involved 3. Aunt L-- will owe you babysitting time (if you don't have kids, she'll owe you a drink) 2. You wouldn't want to see her cranky 1. Free food and beer
If you need more convincing, just give me a call! Give me a call anyway, or drop me an email, just to let me know if you'll be showing up! I need to stock supplies, after all!
Thanks so much for everything, guys. I really appreciate all of you so much! I can't wait for you all to see the house!
Love ya!

Once upon an August heated While I toiled, near defeated, Over many a box of stuff I'd swear I never saw before; I was packing, close to screaming While my mind it started dreaming Dreaming of a day that I now can but cry for, Of a joyous, happy day when packing will be all done for. That day arriveth? Nevermore.
I am SO TIRED OF PACKING.
We have eight zillions bags of trash on our front porch. We are the trash neighbors.
The actual trash neighbors are taking half of it though, so that's all to the good. Yikes. I wonder if Aoe can be seduce to dinner out.
That was hard. I said, "Want to go get dinner somewhere?" She said, "Sure."
Now only to decide where to go.

I just went on a date that DID NOT SUCK!
I don't know if it was an instant attraction or anything, but it was pleasant and fun. We had a conversation that was intellectually stimulating. He was NICE and didn't make rude sexual innuendo or do anything icky. And he paid.
Amazing.
And he doesn't live with his mother and have a lame job or none at all. In point of fact, he is a doctor.
It was a good time. A bit of my faith in humanity in general and the male gender in specific has been restored :)

I have found my paradise, in the form of the massage place on market st.
WOW. What an incredible, amazing thing a massage is. I have never before had a professional one, and all I can think of now is - WHEN CAN I HAVE ANOTHER?!?!!?!?!!?
It was AMAZING. I would marry that man and do anything he wanted if I got 30 minutes of that a day. Wow.
As an interesting aside, the masseur is the father of one of my former students. That's me - local celebrity.
In other news, the radon level isn't really high, and the car cose $325 to repair and the new furnace guy is coming Monday since the other one is a loser.
*wanders off to look at furniture*

Instead of writing about my crap day, I will do a fun meme. I love these things.
What is your favorite road sign? Hairpin curve. WEE!
Are you feeling pain right now? Yeah... I'm all stressed, and when I'm stressed the tension goes to my shoulders and my neck, so I pulled a muscle in my tight neck at kickboxing tonight
Do you own a picture phone? If so, what pictures are on it right now? Grr...no, I want one, but... Don't get me started on the bastardly whores at Verizon
What was your favorite song when you were little (i.e., under 10)? "Put Another Log on the Fire." And then once it was on The Muppets, and my young life was complete.
What's your favorite board game? Scrabble
What's your favorite card game? Rummy 500
Atari 2600 or ColecoVision? Atari all the way
What animal does your favorite cheese come from? A Moo Cow. MOO!
What products do you use when you take a shower? Dove firming body wash, Bath and Body Works firming bath wash (sense a theme), a nicely scented Bath and Body works body wash (Violet at the moment, and yes, I'm very clean), shaving gel, a razor, Dove voluminizing shampoo and conditioner, Dove in-shower body lotion.
What are you looking forward to? Getting into my new house... If the furnace doesn't explode, and everyone involved doesn't die from high concentrations of radon... It hasn't been a great house day :P
What was one thing you wanted desperately as a child but your parents wouldn't give you? A pony. I wanted one badly, but somehow the 'rents didn't feel half an acre would hold one.
At what age did you stop believing in Santa Claus? 12 - ridiculously old, but I believed my mother would never lie to me. She still insists that it wasn't a lie but a cultural mandate (though not, admittedly, in those words)
If you could have just one person from a celebrity entourage (nutritionist, personal trainer, makeup artist, etc), what one would you want? Personal trainer. I would love to make famous people hurt.
What should you be doing right now instead of filling out this survey? Sleeping. I have to get up early and take my car to the garage. If I lived in Boston, I would take the cah to the gahraghe, but I don't so I won't.
What magazines do you subscribe to or buy regularly? O, the Oprah magazine; Self; Shape; Glamour; American Educator (One of these things is not like the others... Guess which one just doesn't belong...)
E-mail or snail mail? Email. Duh.
If you had the choice, which would you rather explore: the far reaches of outer space or the deepest depths of the ocean? The ocean. Super nifty. And coral! And pearls! Dolphins! Weird extremist organisms that live in impossibly hot temperatures, and practice chemosynthesis instead of photosynthesis and are very weird looking in a cool way.
Do you find any cartoon characters attractive? I'm a Gundam fan. And Weiss. So...yeah.
King Kong or Godzilla? King Kong. I love monkeys. MONKEY MONKEY MONKEY! Aoe - "I am taking a monkey day. A monkey has come into my life."
Are you like your parents? More all the time. Soon I may have to be put down
Do you write your number seven with or without the line through the middle? Half and half
What is/was your school mascot and colors? High school: Green and White Warriors. College: Purple and Gold Saxons. The school I teach: Green and White Vikings. The mascot has always been a person, which I like, because I think animal mascots are dumb.
What do you put on your toast? Butter spray or,if the world is a place of happiness and light, strawberry-rhubarb jam

Well. Today was day one of my two-day, twenty-hour yoga teacher training. At the end I will be a certified yoga instructor, if I am not dead. Holy yoga class, batman! I am SORE!!!!!!
I am also soon to be possessed of a house with a possibly bum furnace :P The house inspection Thursday went very well except for the furnace. I had to call up a furnace guy, so that he can come to the house and look at it. Do you know how much this shit COSTS?! It's freaking unreal, I tell you. Out of control.
I have found a cool couch that I want for my sitting room. It is purple, and thus horrifically impractical, and I care not a whit. I think a purple couch is an awesome thing, and I want one. Thus, I likely will get one. I haven't mentioned it to my dad yet. Of course, my parents had purple furniture in their youth (ah, the 70s). My dad broke the chair sitting on his head in it, pretending to be Mork from Mork & Mindy. My mother recounts that story frequently. I think she's still bitter about the chair.

I will now state in this journal for the first time, though surely not the last, that PACKING SUCKS!!!!!
Thus far, I have filled 16 boxes/bags, and have packed approximately a quarter of my spare room.
This does not bode well. In fact, it bodes of great evil. Evil, evil, evil.
Yikes.

It's the fourth of July, so it's the only day I can wear my American flag tie-dye without feeling, as I just told Aoe, like a tool.
Really, the flag is a wonderful thing. But I tend to lump the people who display it everywhere - on their clothing, cars, sides of garages, etc. - in the same category as people who display religous symbols everywhere. And that category is "People Who Are Insecure And Feel That By Displaying Symbols Of Their Beliefs They Must Fit In and Thus Be Cool." It's a rather cumbersomely named category, I suppose, but leaves very little room for confusion. At any rate, today is the fourth, so I can wear my flag without feeling that I'm trying to justify something. After all, on the fourth, the flag is the theme. I do love a theme.
My friend Frank had a party at his dad's house on one of the minor finger lakes yesterday. It was awesome - we had so much fun. We took the boat out - twice - and swam and drank and laid around in the sun and ate and had just a fabulous time. There were lots of people there that I didn't know, and some of them thought I was 22, which was also a fabulous thing ;) I did karaoke for the first time in my life - The Devil Went Down to Georgia, with Frank, and I Will Survive with a bunch of girls. Good times.

Nope, not dead....just been frantically busy.
The last few weeks of school this year were INSANE. I've never worked so hard during them - usually I just screw around ;) But of late, I've actually been working! It's been crazy.
I have neglected one thing, though, that's unforgiveable. I have not congratulated my fabulous cousin alohdark, who, in addition to being beautiful (prom court!), talented(author!), witty(too much to mention!) and intelligent(the only member of my family vaguely like me!), has now also become an All-American athlete!!!!! You da bomb, kid. It's really kind of unfair that one person has ALL of those fabulous qualities! You could have saved some for the rest of us ;)
I returned two days ago from the Student Council National convention in Collinsville, Ill. There were too many highlights to mention. I will summarize: 1 dorky guy who puked on the table at country western line-dancing bar 1 dorky girl who puked in her bed at the hotel (do NOT TELL MY DAD THAT, MISS alohdark ! NOT KIDDING! OR MY MOM! OR ANYONE RELATED TO ME!) 2000 awesome, inspiring kids from around the country 630 feet of centenary curve in the form of the Arch, which is cool 2 roundtable workshops where I got nifty ideas 5 new buddies 2 new buddies who kind of irritated me by the end of the week 1 cell phone belonging to one of my students left ON THE PLANE
Lots of fun. Very good time.
Last night I went out (read: slept with) Tom again. I had avowed not to see him again after he told me I was stupid for not knowing that lawnmowers took oil. How am I to know that? My genius reaches many areas; engines are not one of them. But he called, and was nice, and had a new dog, and... It's not like I've got anything else going on... And it's such a relaxed, low-maintenence thing...
Anyway. Today I bought a CD player for my car and the bedset I have been longing for for a year. I got it for $150. Original prince - $350. I feel massively smug, and like it even more than I did before I got a bargin.
Which leads me into my news... I can put the bedspread on the bed in the room AT MY NEW HOUSE!!!!! I bought a house! It still has to go through, and a closing date has yet to be established, but I have it! It's about 5 minutes from work and the gym, little, very nice... There will be much more forthcoming, I just wanted to state... I have a house!
And, in closing... ( I need to travel west more... )

Sorry that this isn't cut, but I can't bear to cut a PIRATE
A Pirate Raider You scored 5 Honor, 4 Justice, 7 Adventure, and 7 Individuality! | More than just the usual swabbie, you demand not only the life at sea, free from landlubbers and their rules, but also you require adventure and excitement. You're happiest when the guns are blazing, the risk high, the outcome uncertain, but the chance for reward substansial. Your kind are welcomed as allies and feared as enemies.Put on your wooden leg and hook. You'll do just fine! | |
My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender: | You scored higher than 8% on Ninjinuity | | You scored higher than 30% on Knightlyness | | You scored higher than 65% on Cowboiosity | | You scored higher than 69% on Piratical Bent |
|
I AM the pirate king! THough if I tried to become the Pirate King as I did in college (8oz hard liquor at once from the Pirates of the Caribbean shotglass) I think I'd die.

Attention, Insecure Men With Sports Cars:
Yes, your Nissan 350Z is a nice car. Lovely. Smokin'.
But it is not Magic. If you are a sleazy asshole, and you get a fancy car, you will just be a sleazy asshole with a fancy car. You will not automatically be a stud whom women fight each other to possess.
Save yourself $30,000, buy a self-help book, and fix your Narcassistic Personality Disorder. THEN and only then will you get a second date.
Thank you.
BTW - In case there were any question, the date did NOT go well. Yikes.

Happy birthday to aoeliveshere!!!!!!!!!!!!
Be sure to send her wonderful wishes, the poor girl who thought she had to make her own birthday cake.
(Ok, so I forgot about the cake yesterday. But I came home with ingredients to make it this morning! I didn't TOTALLY forget! I don't TOTALLY suck!).
That's what comes of being hungover of a Saturday :P
Anyhoo, many birthday felicitations to the Aoe-ist of Aoes!
You even get the birthday icon :)
